36 Commuting Solutions coalition members have access to leading edge information about transportation along the U.S. 36 corridor and the people who are creating its future. Members work in cooperation with the Regional Transportation District (RTD), the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), elected officials, private companies, non-profit organizations, public citizens and state and federal congressional members. Together, we enhance the mobility of commuters along the U.S. 36 corridor for today and the future.

Advocacy

We are your advocate for the U.S. 36 corridor, including transportation funding, expanding transit service and business access. Gain insight into federal, state and local policy matters, legislative tracking of funding and transportation issues. Participation in monthly membership Steering Committee meetings. U.S. 36 Coalition

Our membership consists of public and private organizations that have made a commitment to advance the multi-modal transportation needs of U.S. 36 and to speak collectively with one voice for the long-range plan of the corridor. Research

Member employers receive customized assistance for tracking employee commute habits using state of the art commute surveys and carbon footprint mapping tools.

Custom Commute Options Planning

Commute options programs increase employee productivity, satisfaction, recruitment and retention and contribute to company “greening” goals. Members receive the individualized assistance they need to identify, develop and evaluate custom commute options programs for the workplace. Members also have the opportunity to garner funding for an RTD employer transit pass program and mini-grant funds for encouragement of employee commute options.

Participation in the Workplace Ambassador Network

Experience firsthand the latest tools, resources and innovations in alternative transportation through quarterly meetings, monthly e-newsletters and regional events and promotions. Be well-equipped to be a workplace champion for cleaner commutes.

36 Commuter CASH

Members receive access to 36 Commuter CASH, an innovative approach to combat traffic congestion on U.S. 36. Jointly funded by 36 Commuting Solutions and a federal CMAQ grant, the program pays U.S. 36 commuters who currently drive solo to work when they choose to "make the switch" and carpool, vanpool, telework, ride transit, walk or bicycle. Participants can earn $3/day, as much as $180 over a 90-day pledge period.
