Commuting Solutions
works in partnership with a regional network of six transportation
management associations (TMAs) throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
The strength of a TMA lies in its ability to bring together multiple
organizations and individuals to holistically address and accomplish more
than any one government agency, employer, developer, or resident could do
alone. Each group has influence on transportation and air quality issues
and contributes significantly to overall solutions. Activities range from
providing information on available transportation alternatives to taking
an active role in site-design elements that effectively impact travel
demand.
Denver Area Transportation Management Associations
The
Downtown Denver Transportation Management Association (DDTMA) was
established by the Downtown Denver Partnership in 1995, in response to
growing concerns among downtown businesses and downtown visitors on issues
relating to air quality, mobility and access into and around downtown. The
Downtown TMA was designed to develop and implement cost effective programs
that improve access, mobility and parking options for Downtown
constituents, at the same time reducing traffic congestion and protecting
air quality.
The Southeast Business
Partnership is an organization with one simple, overarching goal in mind:
to make sure that the transportation system works hard for everyone who
lives and works along the South I-25 Urban Corridor. That mission
manifests itself in a number of ways. SEBP strives to monitor
transportation demand to ensure that the new
Light Rail line will consistently deliver convenient, effective and high
quality services to businesses located throughout this corridor. SEBP is
your continuous conduit to a wealth of transportation information.
Tranportation
Solutions is
focused on issues in the Cherry Creek and Glendale areas, and the Colorado
and University Boulevard corridors. Founded in 1997, Transportation
Solutions works to foster a balanced transportation system in the area
where people can use a variety of modes to get around.
The Stapleton Area Transportation Management Association (TMA) was
created to promote the use of alternative forms of travel to driving alone
within and around the developing Stapleton area. The TMA creates, promotes
and supports transportation options for residents, commuters, students and
visitors in and around the Stapleton community.
The Boulder East TMA was
created in 2004. In support of the city of Boulder’s Transportation
Master Plan, Boulder East provides Transportation Demand Management
services, information, and advocacy to improve access to employment
centers in the Boulder East area for employees and customers while
reducing traffic congestion and its resulting air pollution.

A nonprofit association of 52 local governments, is dedicated to making

Organization formed by Inter-Governmental Agreements between Colorado
cities, towns, counties and transportation districts to work with the
Colorado Department of Transportation to conduct the Rocky Mountain
